Air France is deploying the Airport Moving Map (AMM) application as a Surface Manager Enabler and the Runway Overrun Prevention System (ROPS) as a Safety Net Enabler.
Scope
Air France is deploying both enablers on the A320 and A330 fleet (130 aircraft total) and is upgrading its Full Flight Simulators in order to train its pilots (~2000 pilots) on the ROPS.
Air France selected Lufthansa System to provide the Airport Moving Map application on its Electronic Flight Bag (EFB).
Air France is one of the first airlines to buy the ROPS to Airbus as a key enabler against runway excursion.
